Paint Correction Las Vegas NV

SWIRL REMOVAL & MACHINE POLISHING IN LAS VEGAS

Purple Flare Wraps removes swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and water spot etching with professional multi-stage paint correction in Las Vegas and Henderson. We measure clear coat depth, machine polish the defects out of the paint instead of filling them, and refine the finish until reflections read sharp and clean. The result is deeper gloss, true color depth, and a surface that is properly prepped for a ceramic coating or paint protection film. Bring us a daily driver, an exotic, or a fresh trade — we will tell you exactly what your paint needs.

WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION?

Paint correction is the process of machine polishing your clear coat to permanently remove the defects that dull a finish — swirl marks from automatic car washes, wash marring, light scratches, buffer trails, oxidation, and water spot etching. Rather than filling them with glaze or wax that washes away, we level a microscopic amount of clear coat so light reflects evenly off the surface again.

Every correction starts with a decontamination wash and paint depth readings, so we only remove what is safe to remove.

MULTI-STAGE PAINT CORRECTION | HOW WE BRING PAINT BACK

01

Decontamination Wash

Every correction starts with a pH-neutral foam wash, iron remover, and clay treatment so bonded contaminants are lifted off the paint instead of being dragged across it by a polishing pad.

02

Inspection & Paint Depth Readings

We measure clear coat thickness and inspect the finish under dedicated correction lighting, mapping swirl marks, scratches, buffer trails, and water spot etching before a single pad touches your car.

03

Compounding & Polishing

Cutting compounds level the defects, then finishing polishes refine the surface. Depending on the condition of your paint, that is a single enhancement stage or a full multi-stage correction.

04

Protection

Corrected paint is bare and unprotected. We finish with a sealant, a nano ceramic coating, or paint protection film so the gloss you just paid for survives the Las Vegas sun.

FAQs

Paint correction is the process of machine polishing a vehicle’s clear coat to permanently remove swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, buffer trails, and water spot etching. Instead of hiding defects under glaze or wax, a correction levels a microscopic amount of clear coat so light reflects evenly again. The result is deeper gloss, sharper reflections, and true color depth.

Pricing depends on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the paint, and how many stages of correction it needs. A single stage enhancement polish on a well kept car costs far less than a multi stage correction on neglected or heavily swirled paint. We inspect the vehicle, take paint depth readings, and quote the exact stage of correction your finish actually needs — no guessing. Call 702-677-4200 or send us a photo through the form on this page.

A single stage enhancement polish is usually a full day. A two stage correction typically takes two to three days, and a show car level correction can take longer depending on the vehicle. Because the paint has to be washed, decontaminated, corrected, and then protected, we ask for the vehicle overnight on anything beyond a one stage polish.

Yes, when it is done with measurements rather than guesswork. Factory clear coat is only so thick, and every correction removes a small amount of it. We take paint depth readings across the panels first and choose the least aggressive pad and compound combination that will still remove the defect, which is why we do not blindly run a heavy cut on every car.

In almost every case, yes. A ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so any swirls or scratches present at the time of application stay sealed under the coating for years. Correcting first is what makes a coated car look wet and flawless instead of glossy but swirled. We handle both in house, so your car can be corrected and coated in the same visit.

The defects we remove are gone permanently — they cannot come back. What matters afterward is how the car is washed. Automatic tunnel washes and dirty wash mitts are what put swirl marks back into the paint. With a protective coating and proper wash technique, corrected paint stays sharp for years.

If a scratch catches your fingernail, it has gone through the clear coat and cannot be fully polished out — correction will soften and improve it, but removing it entirely would require refinishing the panel. Anything shallower than that, including the vast majority of swirl marks, wash marring, and light scratches, comes out completely.
