This 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo just left our Henderson facility wearing a Lamborghini custom printed wrap unlike anything you’ll find off a shelf. Instead of a solid color change, the car received a full custom graphic in bold white, black, magenta, blue, and orange shapes — designed specifically for this Gallardo’s lines, then printed in-house on our large-format printers.
The twist that makes this project stand out: the artwork wasn’t printed on standard vinyl. It was printed directly onto paint protection film, so the graphic itself is also shielding the paint underneath. Every panel, including the door sills, was installed with that same printed film.
Why a Lamborghini Custom Printed Wrap Makes Sense Here
A Lamborghini is a design statement first. Wrapping it in a generic solid color misses the point of the car. A custom printed wrap lets the owner keep the Gallardo’s aggressive body lines front and center while adding graphics that are entirely unique to that vehicle — each design is built around the specific car.
Because the graphic is printed on film rather than cut vinyl, the shapes, gradients, and color transitions can be far more detailed. Sharp edges, layered colors, and fine linework are all achievable in a single printed panel instead of dozens of pieced-together vinyl layers.
Printed on PPF, Not Vinyl
Printing the design directly onto paint protection film means the art and the protection are the same layer. The film protecting the paint is the same film carrying the design.
This matters in Southern Nevada. Las Vegas and Henderson sit in a high-UV, high-heat zone, and our roads and construction sites throw up plenty of debris. A painted or vinyl-only finish on an exotic like this is exposed to that environment with no real defense. Printing the graphic on PPF gives this Gallardo a Lamborghini custom printed wrap that protects the paint while it turns heads.
Panel-by-Panel Install, Including the Door Sills
Getting a multi-color printed film install to line up correctly across a supercar’s curves takes patience. Our team installed this wrap panel by panel, carrying the design details all the way down to the door sills so the graphic reads as one continuous piece rather than a wrap that stops at the obvious spots.
All of the design and printing happened in-house on our large-format equipment, which is part of why we can build something this specific to one car rather than pulling from a catalog of pre-made patterns.
Finished With a Ceramic Coating
Once the printed PPF was installed, the Gallardo was also ceramic coated. Between the printed film handling the physical protection and the ceramic coating layered on top, this car left our shop set up for daily Las Vegas driving without giving up any of its visual impact.
It’s the same logic behind a phrase we use a lot in the shop: PPF is like a jacket, and ceramic coating is like sunscreen. One is a physical barrier, the other protects the surface underneath it. On this build, both were used together on a car worth protecting properly.
