Our audi rs6 ppf install on this 2026 Audi RS6 Avant turned heads before it even left the shop, thanks to a full color change finished in candy apple red, with door jambs included so the look carries all the way through, paired with ceramic coating and ceramic window tint.
The RS6 Avant is a rare car to see in the Las Vegas valley, and it deserves a protection plan that matches its performance and its price tag. This build covered the full exterior, the glass, and the paint underneath the film, which is the kind of layered approach we like to see on cars that owners actually plan to keep looking sharp for years.
Why Audi RS6 PPF Makes Sense in Las Vegas
Southern Nevada sits in what’s often called Zone 3 for UV exposure, meaning intense sun, high heat, and long stretches of direct light on parked vehicles. Add in loose gravel on the 215, construction zones around Henderson, and debris kicked up on the I-15, and factory clear coat takes a beating fast.
That’s exactly where audi rs6 ppf earns its keep. A properly installed film layer sits between the elements and your paint, absorbing the small impacts and UV load that would otherwise dull or chip factory finish over time. For a car like the RS6 Avant, with its wide fenders and aggressive lower body lines, that front-end exposure is significant.
Candy Apple Red: A Full Color Change With Door Jambs
This RS6 wasn’t just protected, it was transformed. The film was applied as a full color change in candy apple red, a deep, layered tone that reads differently depending on the light, something flat paint rarely pulls off on its own.
Including the door jambs in the wrap matters more than people expect. It’s the detail that separates a wrap that looks finished from one that looks like an afterthought every time a door opens at a car show, a valet stand, or just the grocery store parking lot.
- Full exterior color change in candy apple red
- Door jambs wrapped to match for a clean, finished edge
- Film installed over factory paint, not in place of it
Ceramic Coating and Tint: Rounding Out the Protection
We like to describe it this way: PPF is like a jacket, ceramic coating is like sunscreen. The film takes the physical hits — rock chips, light scuffs, road grime. The ceramic coating goes over the film and any exposed paint to add a slick, UV-resistant layer that makes washing easier and helps the surface shed water, bugs, and brake dust.
Ceramic window tint rounds out the package. In a market with as much direct sun as Las Vegas, cutting heat and glare through 3M-grade infrared-rejecting film keeps the cabin cooler and protects interior materials from long-term sun exposure, without the signal interference older tint films were known for.
How This audi rs6 ppf Build Came Together
Every panel on this RS6 was designed, printed, and installed in-house at our Henderson facility. As a 3M Pro Series certified shop, we handle color change film, windshield PPF, ceramic coating, and tint under one roof, which keeps the fitment and finish consistent from the hood to the hatch.
If you’re weighing audi rs6 ppf against a standard clear film or no protection at all, it helps to look at how we’ve approached similar builds. Our paint protection film page covers the basics of coverage and material, and our work on other performance platforms, like our Porsche paint protection film installs, shows the same attention to panel prep and edge wrapping that went into this RS6.
